Extended Deadline: Call for Applications Jessup Team 2024/25
Dear Incoming and outgoing students of the University of Freiburg,
we are always looking for a diverse Jessup team. To give international students a chance to apply, we have decided to extend the deadline for you!
After successful participations in last year’s German National Rounds in Münster we are now looking for a talented team to represent the University of Freiburg in the largest and oldest international moot court during the winter semester.
Every year, the Jessup Moot Court addresses timely problems in public international law, giving you the opportunity to draw up a written pleading for each the applicant and the respondent party. During the preparation for the competition, you will connect with law firms and students from other universities, from which they profit later on in their legal careers.

They shall include:
- CV (German/English)
- Letter of Motivation (English)
- Transcript of Grades (High School Diploma)
- Transcript of current Grades (Year 3 or higher)
- If available, language certificate (English) – Native speakers welcome!
The deadline for applications by international students is extended to the 3 July 2024 at 12 noon. An application process will take place the following weekend (6th–7th July), in which it is possible to participate online! Should you not be in Freiburg yet at this point, we kindly ask you to inform us in your application.
